Have been to the Dockkoog again yesterday and today, but the drive was for nothing. It rained, snowed and all these mean things when I was in mood for light. Chilled to the bones and back home I digged in my folders from early summer, when I was there the last time and found this one, which I haven´t shared so far.

The Dockkoog is good for some cool subjects and surprise. As the low tide began, a White Stork alighted and was waiting for the pool to empty to find something to eat. And only a Stork can stay absolutely still for several minutes (wish I could)

After I heard (and seen) my 4-stop ND fallen onto ground, flawing into thousand pieces, I listened to the rain...and got wet !

Another image from the pool at the Dockkoog in Husum / North Sea at high tide. As with the image before at the horizon left you can see a whisp of Nordstrand Island, while the rest of the horizon is the seawall / embankment to the mainland.

The pool at the Dockkoog in Husum / North Sea at high tide. The silhoutte at the horizon is the Island of Nordstrand with its seawall, which is also the embankment to the mainland.
