def leppard

Harry Halibut posted a photo:

Grafitti on The Moor

Def Leppard always reminds me of a contemporary of mine back in Croydon where I grew up who was in London for the night. (either his surname was Leopard or something similar or his nickname was, I can't remember)

He was totally off his head on drink, etc. when it started to rain so he decided to find shelter.
He shinned up a drain pipe and went into a building through an open first floor window (this was at one in the morning) found a chair and fell into a deep sleep.

About an hour or so later he was woken up and arrested and confused about how he had been found so quickly.

He had broken into Cannon Street Police Station!

In the foreground is one of the 'Guardians' - one of two large sculptures collectively known as Guardians. The sandstone sculptures are 3 m (10 ft) high, 2.5 m (8 ft) wide and 5 m (16 ft) long. The sculptures are not identical and take features from a variety of animals. They have been derided in the past for having faces like characters in the children's television series 'Thomas and Friends
