Doe

cruadinx posted a photo:

Large

This doe was down close to the Bay in a thick, shady clump of trees -- probably to get some relief from the heat. I almost walked into her before I even noticed her standing there. She gave me a once-over and let me take a few shots before I went on my way and she went back to browsing the undergrowth.

This was shot in hot, hazy, early morning light. I was disappointed in the soft-focus quality when I first saw it, but I think I like the mood; it was a soft, quiet moment.
