The Roseville Covered Bridge, also known as the Coxville covered bridge, is southeast of Mecca, Indiana. The double span Burr Arch covered bridge structure was built by Joseph J. Daniels in 1866. The bridge is 281 feet long, 16 feet wide, and 12.5 feet high

Saunders Springs Nature Preserve is a heavily wooded natural area located on steep terrain with interesting historic features. The preserve provides opportunities for nature study, hiking, picnicing, and historic interpretation. There are three 1800's vintage cabins. Two pavilions plus many picnic tables with BBQ grills, and a scout camping area are available. Saunders Springs Nature Preserve is located on the edge of the Karst Plateau in the Highland Rim physiographic region of Kentucky. The area is characterized by many sinkholes, caves and springs which drain a network of underground caverns.

Cataract Falls, where two sets of falls on Mill Creek create a cascade that drops 86 feet, is the largest waterfall in Indiana. The upper falls has a sheer plunge of 20 feet; the lower falls - about a half a mile downstream - has a fall of some 18 feet. There was a primitive bridge across Mill Creek between the upper and lower falls that washed out in the flood of 1875. A 140 ft. Smith Type 3 covered bridge was built at the upper falls in 1876 and was open to traffic until 1988. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources restored the Cataract Bridge in 1995.
