Just came back from an amazing trip to Easter Island, it was a great experience and a good amount of pictures. I'm just too tired to write more, but I leave you with this spectacultar view. No one can climb on a moai, I guess you have to be bird to do so...

It was also a warning to me, even at the high point where I was, some waves managed to get me wet, as the one on the lower left did. Strange as it may sound, I feel so much more peace when the ocean is furious; it's just too beautiful.

If you "accidentally" press L, you will be a little closer of seeing what was actually happening there.

Atacama desert and The Andes... pretty awesome landscapes.

Laguna Miscanti, Altiplano chileno, Desierto de Atacama.

The sun was rising, 8:00 am, no one around, -2°C, 4200 mt above sea level (13800 ft). Behind those mountains is Bolivia. It is an absolutely mesmerizing place.

The funny thing about reflections: when you try to reach the sky, your reflection is reaching for hell.

A short stop-by in our way to Salar de Tara. These are huge rocks that were eroded by the wind, separating them of the Tara walls. It's a very impressive view that shows up after a good hour and a half of flat plains.

Really, in the middle of nowhere. This was heading towards Salar de Tara, it was about an hour and a half of only this: nothing, not even a single green leaf, only rocks and plains. Makes you realize that what you thought were helpless animals, are actually one of the toughest. How much time would you last in a place like that? It was scary just to think that our vehicle could have a malfunction, or the GPS. It was a magic moment watching that group of Vicuñas living their lives in a place as hostile as that. We are definitely spoiled in the big cities.
