Visited the abandoned Kingston Mental Hospital on a trip to Kingston, Ontario in January. Many stories of mal treatment, hauntings, and a long history of various kinds of hospitalization. You do get a kind of errie vibe as the building looms over you. I've heard of people getting inside, but I think some things are best left unseen...

I'm very excited! In about a week I should find out if one or both of my frog pictures are going to be in Canadian Geographic till Fall. That would be a fantastic boost after all that's happened lately. Fingers crossed! :)

I was up at 7am on Saturday and noticed there was a dense fog out. I decided that since I was awake I should grab my camera and go out and take some shots. I came upon this field littered with spider webs. The morning sun made them glisten and light up the whole field... it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen...

I'll try and post a shot of the field as well, although the shot does not do it justice...
