Went up the Rockefeller Building when I was in New York with friends. We randomly timed it perfectly for sundown. The view is epic. Better to go up the Rockefeller and actually see the Empire State Building I think. Plus there isn't loads of hassle from people trying to sell you tickets at the bottom.

Some friends came to stay at the ranch (farm) this Summer. In fact it was last week. We went to this place which is called the Blue Lagoon or Lake or something...

It was pretty epic, it might not look so, but the water is so turquoise which for Wales is very odd. Absolutely flipping freezing as usual though so the swimming was brief but fun. Thankfully we chose the right day as it was very sunny which made getting out less painful.

Definitely want to go back. Great place. It's right up a hill to which overlooks the coast. Niceeee.

I'm beginning to like shooting landscapes from a ground perspective, with the foreground being blurred. ie, shooting with a 50mm or a telephoto lense of some description.

Also you might have guessed, but this is the background to the self portrait below.

I haven't uploaded anything in absolutely ages following the breakage in my camera (the auto focus died). It still works but it just infuriated me so I have been concentrating my efforts on getting a new camera (Canon 550d) and as I barely work I don't earn a great deal so I resorted to selling stuff on Ebay. So that has taken up a bit of my time. But an old friend came to stay at the farm for a few days so I got the chance to get about a bit and so I got a few landscapes done which I will upload over the coming days.

So yeah, if anyone has any ways of me making a little bit of money let me know ;)

Topsail Island

I took this soon after arriving at Topsail Island in The States. It was pretty stormy that evening, you might be able to see, hah.

But yeah, I got back yesterday after travelling for over 20 hours in cars and on planes and such. Very tiring coming back. But it was well worth it. Met loads of new people who were all great and enjoyed bumming about on the beach which was a stones throw from the place I was staying. Went to a beach wedding aswell, that was interesting - very nice too.
