One cold day in last December homecoming. I miss, I always miss the long journeys, all the pine trees that we passed, and the chill air. My hometown is Bandung, but I also had trips to Bogor and Lembang.

This is a road around Tangkuban Perahu mountainous area, Lembang.

3 days ago, I had a farewell lunch with my family at a restaurant and it was quite a nice dining experience. I was craving for nasi lemak, so I had it as my lunch. It was delicious :9

They served it with the compulsory accompaniments of nasi lemak: boiled egg, kampong-style fried chicken, spicy sauce (sambal), cucumber slices, roasted peanuts, small fried anchovies ('ikan bilis', or 'teri' in Indonesian) and, cuttlefish in chilli sauce (sambal sotong).

It was the first time I ate nasi lemak with cuttlefish in chilli sauce, so it was the most complete nasi lemak I ever had in my life :D

And to have it like more 'traditionally Malay', I had a glass of hot milk tea as my drink! It was so amazing (and I was satisfied as I finally had what I was craving for!) :9

One of the cutest, funniest (whatever) menu name ever, given on a fried rice...

Fancily translated as:
'The fried rice of boy virgin and girl virgin' :P

My parents ordered this when we had our farewell lunch at The Airport Restaurant yesterday. The taste is no different from 'kampong' fried rice, served with seafood crackers, omelet egg and fried chicken, and to make it looks more traditional they serve it on a square piece of banana leaf.

I don't have any idea why they gave such name... I think I'd like to ask the cook himself. Haha!

*update*
The next morning after I uploaded this at night, I'm surprise this picture has hit more than 1200 views! What's so eye-catching about this picture? I seriously don't find anything interesting in the picture O.o

Took this at the Milk Bean Curd Production House in Lembang, West Java, Indonesia. There you can see lively the process of how they make it... I went to the kitchen by myself, and there was this chalkboard where they wrote down the ingredients and the cooking process.

A random shot, taken right outside a cafe at night. I just like the colourful lights made a tiny reflection on the glass window... The hanging yellowish white light and the black and white clip on the TV. What a capture.

Look closely. Can you see the vague view, something like mountains behind those green hilly trees there? It gives the picture a kind of mysterious atmosphere... That's why I took this picture.
