Sea at Castillo del Mar

Walking down to the sea from our town on the Island of Gomera, there was an abandoned stone castle like structure. I had read of it. It was a marvelous place where food, drink, music and merriment had been served up on a sea of blue. There was a campaign on the net to try to get the currently abandoned haven up and running. I asked our host what the story was. Apparently the German owner who built the whole thing on the unclaimed peninsula of land was having too much fun. Right when you think you want to move to a small town in the middle of the ocean, the party's over.

Waiting for Allmans------OKAY I did not put a film strip around this! The phone added its own frame to my edit choice. How dumb. I am about to quit trying the instagram-ish thing. Phone pics are for the phone where they look gorgeous. Then on flickr they look like you used 110 film in 1977. And not in a cool way.
