This is one of the two reading rooms filled with light and period furniture in Albuquerque's first library. The building was constructed in 1925 and is now the home of their historical collection. Nothing can be checked out of this library.

Each day thousands of cars and trucks on I-40 pass this location and only a very few stop. Ludlow is on the historic Route 66.

I was standing on the lot taking pictures of this sign, when a lady pulled up. She said she was the owner and wondered if I would like her to turn on the yellow "dancing ants" lights. I said please and this is what it looked like.

Along main street (Historic Route 66) lies this almost forgotten business in Seligmann, Arizona. On this day (December 27, 2012) there weren't many interested in ice cream.
