These doz. shots are from my Aberystwyth holiday in Aug'68 . The Vale of Rheidol railway was then operated by BR - and the three locos had been put into BR blue complete with double arrow - not the best of choices, however thats all we had left of BR Steam at the time. Here is No.7,Owain Glyndwr in the rain at Capel Bangor level crossing on 6/8/68.

A much better day at the Vale of Rheidols shed at Aberystwyth with No.7 Owain Glyndwr . Despite the drab livery the nameplates and numberplates were kept immaculate. 8/8/68.

Departing from our holiday at Aberystwyth we called in at Devils Bridge on the Saturday, 10/8/68. At the cutting approaching the terminus No.9 Prince of Wales storms up the last few yards.
