Beautiful spring day at the park - my favorite after-work activity :) We were looking for babies (geese) and there weren't any at this park...But the flowers were out in full force :)

So, I went downtown for like 20 minutes on my lunch....This ended up being my favorite shot from the venture, and I decided to use it. That just means I'll have to head back downtown another day... :)

Oh, and even though I used it on Saturday, I'm going to call this my first "official" photo with our new camera!!

Same day as the lilacs...different park. Actually the park right across the street. There were a gazillion babies there! Ok, not a gazillion, but a good solid couple dozen, just where we went. I love these little fluff balls :)

Ok....So I've abandoned the POTD...again. I got super busy making a costume for my son (the first time I used a pattern to sew!) and I kind of drifted away from it. I was getting burnt out on taking pictures just to make the shot, and it was starting lose its luster. I have a very busy summer, with several trips, so I'm fairly certain I will have more than enough pictures (between that and my existing stuff that I've wanted to post) to keep you guys sick of me :)

I always seem to use this early in the month...I'll have to try harder to save it.
We don't go this way to work very often, so I'm not as familiar with what's around. I remembered this bridge before we actually passed it, so I could grab a few shots. I wish I had a slower shutter speed (I had been shooting into the sun just before this) but I still kinda like it!

We spent a couple hours at one of the downtown parks this afternoon. It's a mix of old and new...some stuff is really growing, others are still brown and bleh. But it was a very productive trip :)
