Busy pollen bees are not easy to capture. They are always moving by the fraction of seconds. I wanted to photograph hand help macro. I found this chunky one hovering on flowers with pollen stuck on his leg. I have waited and waited..then finally the bee stopped for few seconds from taking off. After several attempts, I have finally shot one right. Tripod is pretty useful when it comes to macro. Sometimes free hand shooting makes less burden carrying one less gear when you are outdoor.
