The remains of a huge pier that circled the bay at Fayette many decades ago. Fayette is now a ghost town and state park in Michigan's upper peninsula.

Mount Athabasca and Mount Andromeda v2

Mount Athabasca and Mount Andromeda on the border of Jasper National Park and Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. The glacier in front of the mountains is Athabasca Glacier, the entry point for tours of the Columbia Icefields. If you get out your magnifying glass you can see cars park up above the glacier.

If you like photos of mountains, the Canadian Rockies or landscapes in general be sure to look at my photostream. I have added at least 40 shots from my Canadian trip in July.

v2 note - a new version was uploaded 2/18/13. The latest version of ACR does a much better job of handling chromatic aberrations and the Nikon 18-105mm has significant CA at the edges of it's range.

So they gave this rhino a big pool to drink out of and what did he/she do? Drank from the little mud puddle full of who-knows-what. Milwaukee County Zoo.

The bear seemed to be oblivious to all the flies around its head. That would just drive me crazy.

I took these last summer while at the zoo for a food festival with the family. I have been playing with them in Machinery HDR to see what I can get out of them.
