Yes, I am still alive. Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Just got back from a short snowboarding holiday in Chamonix with my incandescent buddy James.

No editing/adjustments apart from resize.

A well earned end of week prat-about. Trying out some different angles and getting very cold, wet and muddy.in the process. As usual, converted straight from the raw file completely un-edited (apart from shrinkage).

Jeepers! January's almost over and I haven't taken a picture in over a month! Lame! Stopped off at my favourite pond and whipped up this rather uninspired, rushed shonky mess. Better than nothing I guess...

Small cheapo torch, cathodes and sparklers. No photoshopping/visual adjustments, just shrunked.

Thank fark it's Friday! Still dry on ideas at the mo and feeling like there's a cold on the way, but I just had to pop in at the pond on the way home and bash one out! Just a quick re-hash of an old shot (no prizes for guessing which one) couple of test shots then one 8 minute shot that looked good enough, so I called it a night and retreated to the warm.

Single long exposure, resized for the interwebs, but no other visual adjustments/editing.

Giving my new next gen ultra light wand some vigorous testing. I think I can safely say: it passed. (although I do seem to have mutated slightly)

Full-on lighters block at the moment, but I needed to get out and do something, anything!! Yeah, it's almost identical to my last upload, but whatever, I had a nice little splosh around in a pond with some pretty coloured lights and finally got round to finishing off an old roll of film.

A quick LP fix to calm the cravings. The massive 5 metre LED strip from a few weeks ago (now cut down to a more manageable 2 metres and stuck on a stick), spinning sparkler, home-made swizzle/twizzle-pod, penguinesque outline and a bit of light pollution amplified with a cloudy white balance. Bish-bash-bosh and home in time for the new Red Dwarf (which didn't suck!!)

No editing/adjustments, fresh from the memory card.

An unforgettable, once in a lifetime night out in Moscow with Sergey and Eric. Limited equipment, but unlimited fun!

30 second shot (forgot my remote!) taken on a slightly damaged 2 and a half legged gorillapod attached to a sketchy rebar railing on a wobbly bridge. Almost unedited, just swapped "auto" white balance for "tungsten".

Custom white balance experimentations at the abbey. Ran into some very young and extremely loud screaming girls with camera phones. They showed me pictures of some hideously out of focus shapes and were convinced they were ghosts. I wasn't.

No post editing or visual adjustments, resized only.

More custom white balance experimentations. Messed up the wall a bit because I had to light it in a hurry so as not to ruin the sky. Couldn't be bothered to redo it as it was stupid o'clock in the morning and I'd had enough.

No visual adjustments/editing or photoshopping wizzardry, just resized.

For Light Painting Competitions and Themes "Jump!"

This one was a bastard. The battery for my flash trigger had gone flat too which didn't help. Either the jump wasn't quite centred/looked crap, or the flash wasn't pointing in the right place. Did 13 takes and in the end decided the 2nd one was the best.

No visual editing/adjustments, converted from RAW and resized only.

Another visit to the old Zeppelin hangar. Tried for 1 hour but my lens misted up after about 30 minutes. Ho hum.
