You see them all over the place in front of Cologne's cathedral: People who dress up like Romans, Charlie Chaplin, angels, robots and whatever. They are posing and allow you to photograph your wife or children with them - provided you give them some spare money. If you refuse they sometimes react pretty unfriendly.

The "Fabrica de Pizzas" is apparently run by Argentinians. To express their patriotric feelings they temporarily added some nice colour accents to the red and white Coca Cola advertising. Seen in Cologne / Germany.

Notice the towers in the background which protected the original bridge from the 19th century. It was destroyed during world war II.

Zons is a tiny town with approx. 7.500 residents. It's situated between Cologne and Düsseldorf on the left-hand bank of the river Rhine. We used to go there on cycling tours during my childhood and youth because it is a very romantic place. Last summer I went there with one of my sons. We reached Zons by ferry boat. In this image we look into the town through one of its gate.
