These animals are fairly common this time of the year and, unlike lizzards, they are not really afraid so I could take this photo face to face.

Foltos szalamandra. Szerencsére nem félt túlzottan tőlem, így nyugodtan fényképezhettem. Amikor felálltam, ő is lassan odébbállt.

Another protected species of the pasque flower (pulsatilla pratensis or nigricans).

A kökörcsin egy másik védett faja, a fekete kökörcsin.

It felt like autumn in the morning but later the fog lifted and the sun appeared.

A deserted train station in the forest. The small-gauge train line once transported hikers to the heart of the mountains. Train service stopped years ago and by today most of the rails have been stolen.

The forest is still mostly brown at the beginning of spring. The valley in the distance is that of the Garadna Brook that later joins the Szinva and crosses the city of Miskolc.

Az erdő még inkább barna színekben tavasz elején. A távolban látható völgy a Garadna-patak völgye, amely Lillafüred alatt a Szinvába ömlik.
