Chronos was the god of time and the word means literally time in greek. In ancient greek mythology Cronus (another god) was the one who ate his children (except Zeus who finally overthrowned him). The phrase "Time eats its children" (which sounds similar in greek with "Cronus ate his children") comes from a great greek documentary called "The man who disturbed the universe" by Stavros Psilakis (www.dailymotion.com/video/xdyfzw_tvxs-gr-y-yyyyyyyy-yyy-y...) and belongs to a man living in an asylum in Chania, Crete.
