John Carroll University's Campus Garden Compost Center

The campus garden at John Carroll University now features a compost bin, which collects food waste from one of the buildings on campus. The compost center and was constructed thanks to funds provided by the campus dining service.

Stanard Farm Raised Beds

A view inside one of the hoop houses at Stanard Farm in Cleveland. The urban farm is a job training site for the County Board of Developmental Disabilities and provides produce to the public and high end restaurants in the city. The brick paths were made using some of the reclaimed brick from the former school and were designed & laid by some of the board's clients/consumers. The hoop houses will allow for four season harvests of produce.
