Becky showing her stuff on a disappointing surf day. She did catch a couple of nice waves outside but in general the whole time we were there was in the 2'-3' range.

Doesn't this look like fun. Nice even if not big waves in Huntington Beach, California. When a paddle surfer takes to a wave... every one else gets out of the way.

This shot on Waikiki Beach reminds me of the 60s with the retro longboard and her hair style. A little BW, some toning, and there you go. All you need is some Beach Boys, Dick Dale (if you don't know don't ask) and Jan and Dean and your in the 60s.

Hard to believe that he played his guitar totally upside down. Hendrix played his Fender upside down too but reversed the strings.

Oh what a feeling. A wave like this all to himself. The surf here really was spectacular if not very big by North Shore Standards. You can just see the curl forming and the surfer getting ready for some tube action.

Keiki means baby but this kid (about 8) was no child riding these waves.
I love to watch children surf. This was some of the best I've ever seen. Imagine surfing on these North Shore waves. NO FEAR in the way they just attacked the waves. I don't think that any of these kids were over 10 years old.

OK, not the biggest waves but these are the type that you can really get into.

For a change NO fog in the morning so sun was in the perfect place for the photos.

Along Newport Beach, California as the sun was getting low I caught a few shots of surfers in silhouette. This young girl with her boogie board was one of the last surfers of the day.
