Sunset was gorgeous tonight at Gooseberry Island. I really did enjoy my day at the beach unfortunately I look like a lobster now since I was more concerned with my gear than my sunblock

I choose to do an HDR here because I really wanted to bring an artistic feeling to it as well as bring out the rustic details of this old truck.

The truck sits on rte 28 in Middleboro and is the staple of Ricks Towing.

This one was a bit of challenge I knew I wanted a slower water exposure so I used my 10 stop, since that is all I had with me, coupled with a circular polarizer and a .9 soft grad ND for the sky. It was a very gloomy day I but I am happy with the result.

Sorry folks this is all I got for you today. It was a mighty cold morning, temps around 18 degrees. The sun barely broke through the clouds so I settled for a long exposure thinking that maybe I would catch some nice cloud blur at least, but they weren't moving very much.

I'm so looking forward to the warm sunrises and set of summer!

I was like a kid in a candy store this evening at Gooseberry in Westport, MA. The waves are amazing! A little bit of new we will not be moving to Middleboro. I don't know how I feel about that but I suppose it will do for now since I get to be closer to the sea.
