On the Rv15 between Lom and Grotil. Quite a rough, isolated region with the road leading towards the peaks of the Strynefjell: Jørungsløyfta, Oppljosegga & Stavbrekknovi.

The Tvindefossen, a few kilometers north of Voss, directly on the Rv13 and sourrounded by a nice camping site.
Luckily, one of the few short, sunny moments of the day. A few minutes later the drizzle had returned and followed us throughout the evening.

With 612 meters, the Langfossen is number 7 of the highest waterfalls on earth.
Unfortunatelly most of my photos of it were unusable because of the myriads of waterdrops on my lens.

On the Rv55 through the Breiseterdal, on our way down from the Sognefjell high plateau. Winter with snow and ice up in the mountains, spring and summer down in the green valley.

The Nigardsbreen, one of the many side arms of Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in Norway and mainland Europe. Quite impressive, especially in combination with the power of the meltwater.

A small waterfall underneath the Bondhusbreen glacier, a sidearm of the much bigger Folgefonna glacier, located on the eponymous peninsula and National Park.

On of the myriads of bridges along the Atlanterhavsveien, a scenic coast road along the Norwegian Sea, connecting Kårvåg on Averøy and Vevang in Eida.
The Romsdal Peninsula lies In the background of the 260 meters long Storseisundet Bridge.

Store Skagastølstind

Shot on our way up the Sognefjell mountain road framed by harsh peaks and mighty glaciers of Jotunheimen. It is actually the highest one in Northern Europe, reaching 1434m, connecting Gaupne and Lom.
In the background, one can see the cloudcovered mountains of Hurrungane with the Store Skagastølstind.

Taken on a ship from Geiranger to Hellesylt with the waterfall "De syv søstre" (The Seven Sisters) on the right side of the fjord, together with a formerly abandoned but nowadays restaurated farm, Knivsflå, high up in the cliff.

A shot which I have taken abroad the ferry from Seivika (Nordlandet) toTømmervåg (Tunsta).

The mountains lie on the Norwegian mainland (Tingvoll Peninsula) and on the islands Langøya & Årdsundøya, just off the coast.

A view from the top of the mountain Muen (1424m) across the Venabygdsfjellet, a wide, treeless upland plateau.
The trailhead starts next to the small lake Muvatnet, which is located directly on the Rv27, connecting Ringebu (Gudbrandsdalen) and Folldal (Hedmark).
The peak itsself is coverd by innumerable stonepiles, ranging from tiny to over head high.

On the Bergsetvegen near Ersholmen along the Norskehavet coast of Fræna (Møre og Romsdal, Norway). Pretty different landscape in comparison to the areas further away from the sea, but quite a nice contrast after days of rock, snow and harsh mountains. Especially when it is finally accompanied by the first sunshine after a long time.

One of the most famous Norwegian attractions, the Trollstigen (Eng.: Trolls' Ladder), a serpentine mountain road in Rauma, connecting Åndalsnes and Valldal.
Normaly crowded by visitors (up to 600000 per year), we had it all on our own thanks to early morning hours, heavy rain and thick fog.

After our dinner we climed on a small, nameless mountain. Swamp, rivers, mud, thick undergrowth and no path in sight. But in the end we were rewarded with beautiful clouds and light.
