Here's a shot from a few weeks ago that I did for an new up-and-coming band called The Playdates. This shoot was as fun as those outfits are. We had makeup (courtesy if my wife Carrie...she's the best makeup artist that I know), shot it on a sunday afternoon at a popular bar downtown (Nickolaj's), and it was my first time using my new lighting gear.

I would say that I am only 75-80% happy with how the shots turned out. Most of that comes from the fact that I was learning how to use my new lights and modifiers for the first time, but also the fact that we had a fog machine going...and lets just say that I now have a great understanding of how light behaves when shot into smoke/fog.

I took this out of my home office window. The birds in the tree were bright red and i was using my camera to get a closer look when i accidentally took this picture.

Here's a shot of my friend Adam taken while wandering around the streets of Moncton after a few drinks and a nice feed of steak.

This was shot hand held at a high ISO. The light on his face was provided by a massive white sign.

This shot is similar to an older photo of mine, 9:27pm - The Dream , where I shoot at a high ISO out of a window, and then combine a few exposures.

My attempt at making something artistic and absctract from photos.
