Close-Up of a bee "working" on a dandelion. I especially love how many pollen are spread over her body.

Technical
Taken with a Canon EOS 350D + EF-S 60mm Macro. Bright sunlight. Manual exposure (1/160s + f/22 + ISO 100) and flash fired (Speedlite 430 EX). Flash metering by ETTL II.

Motif
Not really a new thing, but I think it's worth showing. A lot of details as this is not a crop out of a bigger picture, but a macro-shot. Not a pure macro (because it is not 1:1 but rather 1:2 but it is pretty close).

Technical
Taken with a Canon 350D and the EF-S 60 mm Macro lens. It was a very windy day, why I had real trouble shooting macros today. As soon as I focused on the flowers they were out of focus because the wind drove them away.

View at least large to get the amazing details.

What became of last years roses?

I didn't cut all last years blooms of our roses. And what became of them? Well it was easy to guess, because everyone knows dog roses, and they are the same family.

Do we men all look so stupid in similar situations?

Technical
Shot using the EF-S 60mm Macro on an EOS 350D (Rebel XT). This was taken using flash (430 EZ), but somehow it was still much too dark. Therefore it is still very noisy. Usually a shot I would have thrown into the trashbin, but his facial expression is so special, that I decided to keep it anyway. Definitely not one of my better shots.
