The postcard view of the Taj. This must be the picture that everyone who has ever visited the Taj takes.. the structure itself is so pretty that one needs neither the skill nor a great camera to make the pic look good. I just wish I had visited it at either sunrise or sunset :)

This was taken early this year at a vacation in Shimla, but I thought it looked too bland. Thanks to Treesha, I tried adding a bit of Textures and yeah, I kind of liked the eerie, dark feeling it created. Thanks Treesha !!

This was taken at The Dubai Mall .. I did not have my SLR with me nor my tripod, so had a hard time finding myself a stable spot and then doing a 2 sec shutter :) Won't complain since I am quite happy with the results.

PS: I was in a long tail boat and had a hard time focusing on the sunset.. the boat was moving and by the end of the series of the pics tht i took, i had a headache trying to focus !!

One wall in the Kamakhya Temple. The current temple structure was constructed in 1565 by Chilarai of the Koch dynasty in the style of medieval temples.

The Kamakhya Temple is a shakti temple situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city in Assam, India. It is the main temple in a complex of individual temples dedicated to different forms of the mother goddess as the Dasa Mahavidya, including Bhuvaneshvari, Bagalamukhi, Chinnamasta, Tripura Sundari and Tara. It is an important pilgrimage destination for general Hindu and Tantric worshipers.

The view of the Taj Mahal, through my lens, in my lens :) ;)

Taken during my vacation these last few days..it was hot and humid and crowded across all the places we visited. I hardly got any good pictures.I thought everyone must have seen so many different views, angles etc. of the Taj taken at maybe various times of the day- sunrise, sunset, evening, moonlight- I will try an alternate view. So here goes it !!
