The Lady Who Sold Jewellery

While out on a photography walk we met this lovely lady who was selling her jewellery.

She was so lovely, kind and friendly. I loved how bright she was. She kindly posed for photos and chatted about her jewellery.

I managed to capture her smile! She was just about to laugh at this moment! I hope that I have captured personality in these shots.

I am totally inspired by Louise Hawson, an Australian photographer who puts together a lot of diptychs. She completed a 52 suburbs project last year where every week she visited a Sydney suburb, took photos and found something beautiful about it.

Here is her view of one of my favourite places, Newtown.

I must admit I love this photo so much as it's just a spontaneous, candid shot.

This cosplayer's friend was squirting fake blood all over her face!
As you can see she is almost laughing :-)

This cosplayer was great. He even got out his fake ice cream to make the photo even more interesting!

Does anyone recognise this character? I'm thinking he is from Naruto Shippuden but I can't find a character with a blue ice cream.

The little girl kept asking her family to take a photo. She was jumping around madly and she was in my shot, so due to the long exposure she looks a little ghostly.

And I guess she got her photo after all!!

Back to my photography :-)

SOOC. I converted to black and white within my camera. It was very cloudy and overcast at this point and the shot looked drab in colour. The black and white gives it a different look.

A very different shot from me. But there is something I like about it.

I will be around to visit everyone soon :-)

Stuart was very lucky as this was a very cloudy and overcast day but the sun came out while he was taking these shots!
