AT&T Park is not perfect, but it is pretty damn good. And the view at twilight even makes advertising look good.

Messin' with photographs can be fun -- in this case, the filter applied was the only one that didn't leave the Jumbotron totally washed-out. And I like the idea of a modern ballpark being haunted by dim, scratchy, recordings of old-time baseball.

So yeah, I went to a Giants game for the first time since the new ballpark opened, and watched them take a terrible drubbing at the hands of the Dodgers (and their own errors), so the highlight of the whole thing was this opportunity to take a picture of Willie Mays' ass. I mean, everybody shoots his front, but how many pictures do you see of his ass? My wife, of course, thinks I'm the ass.
