This is the beginning of the plain, the part where the buffaloes would have landed if they had wings, in the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre. You can see a bit of the cliffs on the centre right of the panorama. Other panoramas: 1

After Lethbridge, we went to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre. A great experience! This is on top of the cliff; buffalos (buffaloes? buffali?) came from the plateau you see on the right and left of the image, and fell down the cliff in the middle of the picture. The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. On the right you see the Friendship Bell tower and the bell, which visitors are allowed to sound. The guide said that if the bell tower is held by the weight of the bell; if the bell is removed, the tower collapses.
