Monkey World is an ape / monkey rescue centre in Dorset (just west of Poole) dedicated to providing a home to a variety of species of apes and monkeys that have either been poached, sold to the illegal pet trade or had their habitat destroyed. My daughter adopted me an orangutan (my favourite animal) at the park for my fathers day gift. We simply had to go and see them and the good work that the people at the park are doing

Its also quite difficult to get decent shots of the apes due the the design of the enclosures plus they don't make the most patient models but I hope you enjoy the few I did get
