This shot, from a few months ago now, was taken at White Rock Beach on a beautiful but chilly night with my beautiful wife to be, Kristen!

Life seems to be crazy lately - not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything that needs to be done! It's important to not lose touch of the things that are really important in life. Especially people in your life that make a difference, those who encourage you when you are down and who are always looking out for your best interests - Your friends and family.

I want to encourage everyone to take a moment and remove your thoughts from the worries and cares of this material world and to think of the people who make a difference in your life. Make a point of telling them how much you appreciate them and why you appreciate them. We all want to be valued and loved yet so often we let the day slip away without giving or receiving the love and appreciation, as well as affirmation that we need to say and hear.

That is my challenge for all of you out there!

This is a night shot of the Viterra Docks, a part of the Port of Metro Vancouver in Burrard Inlet. The Second Narrows Bridge or Iron Workers Memorial Bridge can be seen in the background. Also, A giant No Smoking sign can be seen in large black letters on the ships observation deck as a reminder to not light up while on board.

Kristen on the pier at White Rock from last night. It was very chilly but very beautiful! A perfect place for an evening stroll and really a needed walk after the huge fish and chips meal that I devoured just prior to this.

An Evening At Davis Bay

This is Davis Bay Warf found just outside of Seachelt B.C. In the summer kids swim and jump off it and fisherman even catch the odd salmon or two. When I was growing up my mom and I used to vacation just around the corner from here. It is a beautiful spot!

With a long exposure I was able to soak up the few lasting colors in the sky quite a while after the sun had dipped below the horizon.
