fksr, Stephane and myself were heading back from epic evening of photo shenanigans in the Marin Headlands when we saw this view along the top of Conzelman Road and had to stop. The couple, pictured, were kind enough to let us take a picture of them as they looked out over the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco, completely blanketed in fog. It was a staggeringly beautiful vista with the sound of distant traffic and the city lights illuminating the fog from below.

Last weekend I cycled across the bridge, into what I presumed was going to be thick and impenetrable fog.

Halfway across, there was a surreal, sunny island soaked in sunlight. The water below and all around was in thick fog, with only the very tips of the bridge pylons sticking out.

It was _awesome_.
