Ouchy is a commune, port, and popular lakeside resort located south of the city of Lausanne in Switzerland at the edge of the Lake Léman (Lake Geneva).

Very popular with tourists for the views of nearby France (Évian-les-Bains, Thonon), Ouchy is also a favorite area for rollerskating (Lausanne is considered a capital) and for skateboarding.

The Castle of Tour de Peilz was initially a checkpoint, then an observatory of the lake traffic on the Lake Léman (in English: Geneva Lake) and customs. Destroyed during the wars of Burgundy in 1476, it was bought and rebuilt in 1747 per Jean Grésier, a French officer.

HDR from 7 exposures. Did not have tripod so I used my wallet as the base.

Thanks to Magnus and Jay who patiently waited while I was waiting for the sky to get painted with Cobalt hues. This is the best I could I get!

HDR from 7 exposures, all blended manually in PS. ND 0.3 + CPL helps a lot. But I did not use the combination in all 7 exposures.
