I love the wonderful sweet aroma and vibrant shades of blue and purple tones that you see when the woods are full of bluebells it's one of those special moments that only happen once a year but it's a pity we cannot see it more often ...... some consider bluebells the most potent plant for fairy magic, adults who enter bluebell patches may become so enchanted that they are unable to leave until other humans come to lead them out - now that's strange because I did stay in these woods for quite along time and 100 photographs later I emerged feeling uplifted but rather entoxicated !!!!! :) :) :)

Spring Wood near the village of Whalley is a semi-natural ancient woodland, this means that there has been a woodland on the site since before 1600. The woods were once owned by the monks of Whalley Abbey originally being called Oxheywoode, which formed part of a deer park ....... Springtime visitors are rewarded with a visual feast of bluebells and wild garlic along with the glorious mix of scent running through the air :) :)

I find myself at the extremity of a long beach. How gladly does the spirit leap forth, and suddenly enlarge its sense of being to the full extent of the broad, blue, sunny deep! A greeting and a homage to the Sea! I descend over its margin, and dip my hand into the wave that meets me, and bathe my brow. That far-resounding roar is the Ocean's voice of welcome. His salt breath brings a blessing along with it.

Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.

In your quiet moments, what do you think about? How far you’ve come, or how far you have to go? Your strengths, or your weaknesses? The best that might happen, or the worst that might come to be? In your quiet moments, pay attention to your thoughts. Because maybe, just maybe, the only thing that needs to shift in order for you to experience more happiness, more love, and more vitality, is your way of thinking.

A HFF to you all and I hope that you have a peaceful weekend that is full of sunshine :) :) :)
