The Tufa formations on a late afternoon, catching side light, and casting dark shadows looked almost like a drained aquarium.

I had seen so many great dark and moody images from this place that I couldn't wait to get here. It was a sunny morning and the only mood was GOOD and CHEERY from the golfers driving to the near bye course and the sounds of Bluebirds chirping merrily. Maybe the next time........

I waited, what seemed a great amount of time, for the canoe to become an integral part of the composition. The day was very hazy and the lighting was less than optimal but place was too good not to try and capture. This is the burial site of Saint Patrick.

I was so fixated on getting a long exposure of the streaming clouds and the lighthouse I never noticed the wonderful colors and shapes of the buildings of Donaghadee. Reds, yellows and blues, very cool!!

In between the rain storms yesterday there was a lull that lasted about an hour . It was blowing like hell but there were some heavenly clouds and colors to be found.
