when you find a spectacular subject, you don't really want to stop shooting.. Me & Cishore saw this beautiful monument at one of the very old church at Ooty, Tamil Nadu. Felt that this statue is real, alive and has a life. Fell in love with it.

I was in Pondy last weekend. That was my rented bike for the day to roam around the town :)

I love the French colony, one of my favorite places in Pondicherry. The walls & windows are so interesting & colorful. I stopped by and here goes the pic :)

Shivanasamudra Falls is the second biggest waterfall in India and the sixteenth largest in the world. Shivanasamudra Falls was formerly known as the Kaveri Falls. River Kaveri divides into two branches and each branch cascades down rocky cliffs as the Gaganachukki and the Bharachukki, both are one km away from each other. These spectacular waterfalls are surrounded by hill forests of the Kaveri Wildlife Sanctuary.

This is Gaganachukki - the western falls

The Gaganachukki waterfall is 98 m tall. One can view these waterfalls from the Hydel Power viewing end or the Dargah end. People love to visit this waterfall when the Kabini River floods along with Kaveri River in the months of July and August.

One of Asia's first hydro-electric power stations is located here which was started in 1902 by Sheshadri Ayyar, diwan of Mysore. From here power was supplied to Bangalore, the first city to get power in India.

Marvanthe Beach, Kundapura

Maravanthe is a beach near Kundapura, Karnataka, India. It is 50 kilometres north of Udupi. The national highway NH-17 passes close to this beach (around 100 metres from the shore) and a stretch of a kilometre of this highway is flanked by the seashore of Arabian sea on one side and the Sauparnika River on the other. Trasi is the nearby village on south side of this beach.

This is my first attempt at HDR. Hope you like it.

I learned that, Shooting in Adobe RGB Color Space and Exporting the Photo by choosing ProPhoto RGB as Color Space in Lightroom makes photo to lose the original colors after uploading it to Flickr. Never do that! It's recommended to Export with sRGB which is a standard and Flickr fully supports it.
