Have lent me a Nokia 920 Lumia to do some creative point and shoot snaps.So I went out into Manchester for a wander. I've left the ISO on Auto and default 16-9 format so all I had to do is half press the shutter button and let the autofocus do the business. Images are nice and crisp, bit of barrelling, some yellow chromatic abbs at 300% along structural edges, bit of colour noise at 300% viewing but not noticeable at 100%. Pulling the images off is a bit of a pain as they provided this without a sim so I have no access to the software suite or apps that are available but there's always a way of working around these things. I'll stick a page of images on the blog tomorrow, here's some new Manchester stuff here as well. www.maxblackphotos.com/manchester-mash-ups.html

had to build a little sandcastle, no tripod, ND110 set the timer and stood back.
So bright could only get 10 secs at f22

Breezy but hot on the Med coast, this place gets packed with Kite and wind surfers during the summer and I thought it warm enough for a t-shirt but the for the locals it was hat and coat time...
