Mysterious person

This mysterious backyard visitor came into our lives a few years ago when visiting family in New Zealand. At first her identity was a unknown. Only later, thanks to social media, did we discover who she was.

Seems PF spends more time these days horizontally arranged than in a standing (or even walking) position.

Its the heat!

"Humans need to stand, especially when opening tins of cat food.

Otherwise, in these days of global overheating, the resting position is recommended - so how about it?"

Tips For Surviving a Heat wave:
Close all doors and windows, shut curtains; find an available cushion, pass out for six hours straight;
wake up meow for food, eat. Record temperatures? What's the big fuss??

ps: temperature hit record high at 45 Degrees C in Sydney, Australia.

Aftermath of heat wave = marathon snooze

PF soundly sleeping - since 5am, when I got up to open the windows to let some long awaited cool air in.

We survived yesterday’s heat wave, though sleep deprived.

Hope everyone’s ok - not caught out by a bushfire!

After writing a blog post about this cool feline character who goes by the name Monkey we encountered in New Zealand her owners got in touch with us. Identity revealed - and we were surprised at her story. Pretty interesting cat, actually. Check out my blog post for more - yes she has her own facebook page :)
