Saw this shot the other day on my bike ride and knew I needed to come back and get it.
I figured I'd just take my small camera next time I rode, but the sky was so cooperative today I packed up the Nikon and drove up there.

This is a recreational area in Omaha, they drained the lake to kill off a zebra mussel infestation...

Oak Creek Canyon, AZ

This shot is the whole reason I wanted to go re-visit Oak Creek Canyon with snow fall.
When I said 'I bet this place would be AMAZING with snow on the ground' - this is the shot I saw in my head. All the other stuff is a bonus.

3 shots on tripod, HDR in CS5. Lots of masking to replace the sky. The real sky was terrible.

Cold? Nah, its not cold...

Little bit different processing on this one.
3 shot handheld bracket - HDR'ed, some hand coloring. The sky is blown out on purpose, I liked it better this way.

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love geese. These guys were very cooperative and posing (hoping for food).
I thought I'd try some different (for me) processing techniques on this photo.
