This is an antique depression glass mixing, or batter, bowl with lid and handle that is as gorgeous as it is functional. The pale, almost ghostly green color of the glass is accented by the simple pattern on the lid, the knob style handle and the two spouts on the bowl with co-responding spout covers on the lid.

There is no measurement marker on the bowl, and is marked D & B Co. on the bottom as well as PAT. APPLIED FOR on the handle.

The bottom inside has a groove for a mixer to rest in.It is a large bowl, stands 4 1/2” tall by 10 3/4” to the tip of the handle.
