Found a typo in the title of this one! It reads: Steep street with Countynstables to centre of town with green land etc near sea. However, still think that Countynstables would have made a good name for a county's police force...

Thanks to Vab2009 who recognised this as Downpatrick, Co. Down.

Thought it'd be interesting to have a look at a typical "Main Street" photo not as a Then and Now shot but as Then and Then by Lawrence and Poole Photographic Studios! Unsure of the dates for these two Wexford photos, but they must have been around a similar date by the looks of the businesses obvious in each photo?

P.S. This just in - identification of someone in a photo posted back on 2 January! :)
