An enormous, dead Mute Swan beside the railroad track.

Really, first a severed bunny head, now this?? One of my boyfriends once said that animals fall dead before me. I used to collect them, but not this monster. He was huge.

I have a feeling this one was "eradicated"...as Mute Swans are considered an exotic, invasive species here.

Anyway it was the craziest thing I ever found on a walk. And terribly sad, even if he was an invasive.
