Went for a pre Christmas holiday to a water park - Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. We were able to get out and go down the street to see all the old homes. Many people were in period costume. One of the interesting things the town does for Christmas is decorate their doors of there homes. They do not have trees inside of the home. The wreaths are all made of natural things, fruit and nuts and are judged by a committee to win a ribbon. We did see a few that had other types of items like horse gear and kitchen tools.

This is from the very foggy day at NIST. I textured it with a texture from Lenabem that had a painterly feel to it. Converted to B&W. Not really sure what I was going for but it was fun to do.

Highly textured shot at Sugarloaf. At the end of this road is a mansion that is used to hold weddings and events. One day I am going to get there and take some pics.

This orchid is from the Washington DC Botanic Garden, I hope to go in the spring when they are all in bloom.
