I met my first male model this weekend - Michael.
He is an awesome person and a fabulous model.
For Project #4 - Remorse
I skipped #3 dance. I'll catch up soon, I hope.

I lost my tripod after this shoot :(

Week #2 - Project 52
Self portraits make me happy when they work out!
I am already late on my Project 52. I saw it coming though :)
I was actually thinking about a levitation shot for this but it started snowing and i didn't want to drive. No driving meant no car to carry the stuff i needed for my levitation shot. So, this is my picture for week 2's theme -" As Long as the Raven Flies".

Since it is winter, no one was around and we had a fantastic shoot today. Mary told me that this house was abandoned and she had never seen anyone near this place. This is about as close as we got to it though. Maybe next time, i'll work up the courage to get closer

Merry Christmas everyone ! I can't wait to open my gifts tomorrow morning.

This title i actually found in an article about indian women and poetry. I love it and it fit my story, so I borrowed it.

This was a very productive weekend for me. I took a couple of pictures to a local printer. I am going to see my prints for the first time(the more recent ones) on good quality paper. I am a little nervous about how they'll turn out, but excited that i'll get to see some of them in large size

What i was going for - A maid sitting to rest while on her way to work on a foggy December morning.

I spent yesterday with Marico and Elle shooting self portraits. I am rarely happy with my selfportraits. I use them as a way to test out things that i think may not come out great. Like this picture for example, I only had one purple cloth which did not wrap around me completely. So, I shot it in multiple takes. I've had this in mind for a while but I didn't want to waste a models time trying this out when I wasn't sure I could put it together in post processing. It took me a long time to shoot and even longer to edit. This was also the first time, I used multiple images to make a square crop.

This is one of my favorite quotes by Tolkien.

The boy got me an Intuos 4 for my birthday. I am in love with it! Its even better than i thought it would be. I am still getting used to it and there is a lot to explore. All i can say for now is that using PS is so much easier on it!

Fairy maidens were a common sight in the enchanted forest. Young knights that came under their spell fell helplessly in love with them and when the maidens grew weary of the knights, they left them bereft of will and hope to wander through the forest in despair. They would do anything to get a knights attention, even pretend to faint if that's what it came down to.

Wendy and I went to Mt Tabor today to shoot some pictures. It was bright and sunny this morning but still a little chilly. Wildflowers were growing everywhere ! This picture contains 3 pictures. I could not get one perfect shot with the motion i wanted. For the original 3 pictures, Click here .
