I have been able to upload my photos from my camera to my iPad and then e-mail them to flickr. It seems that every day new photo processing apps appear for the iPad. This little cottage shot was edited in PhotoForge- my favorite so far.

Number 7 is an older cottage with a dutch door. The weather is such that the top half of the doors are often left open. This is a detail shot taken at Happy Landing Inn - a Bed and Breakfast in Carmel. Quaint and dog friendly.

Through this rose covered entry is a tiny cemetery. Each grave has a small twig cross and is outlined with abalone shells. And on each grave a single "coral bell" was blooming

There are many nooks and crannies to explore. This is taken in a back courtyard. Artists are setting up their easels to paint the scene, tourists wander around and in the background you hear the school children reciting their lessons.

Zinnias such as these create such colorful fillers in the fall garden. I particularly liked the look of this one in front of Persian Shield's wonderful purple foliage. The gardeners at the Overland Park Botanical Garden are masters of unusual plant combination.
