Another shot from Berlin, taken just before sunset in the streets of Nikolaiviertel (something like Berlin's old town). I was lucky to get there at this time as we just couldn't find the place (I mean we planned to be there a bit earlier).

Camera: Canon 50D
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22 mm f/3.5-f/4.5
Focal length: 10 mm
Aperture: f/6.3
Shutter speed: 1/1000
ISO: 200
Post-processing: Gimp 2.6.10, only slight Curves adjustments and sharpening. This is a proof that taking the photo right requires very little work in post-processing :) And that the light is the most important factor :)

Another photo from my Warsaw series. This one is my attempt at vintage effect. I haven't used any software or actions. Just plain layers and layer masks :) At the same time it was one of my first attempts in street photography. Actually it turned out to be quite fun - there are so many opportunities to take an interesting shot.
Post-processed in Photomatix (using Tonemapping Plugin for Photoshop) and Photoshop CS 5.
