Portos Cuban Bakery in Glendale

Randy Son Of Robert posted a photo:

LuAnn and I were invited by my mother's new friend, Nivaldo, to experience a bakery in Glendale famous for its Cuban flare. There were literally hundreds of people milling in and around this bakery on Brand Avenue in the heart of Glendale. There were people getting baked goods, birthday cakes, coffees, chocolates and Cuban and American sandwiches. My mother said "this is really a bakery for the people" and she was right. The crowds were large, the lines were long, the service was prompt and the food was really good (especially their potato balls with seasoned ground beef in the middle). The weather was so fantastic and we had a really nice time.

These are some of the sights of the day with the larger photos preceding this collage.
