yesss I know...I have been doing a ton of blue tones lately..but there's been no sun ): I miss it!
this is one of my best friends, Kirstie! isn't she gorgeous? it's ridiculous. my other friend maggie helped me too! it took a super long time to set up and then like 2 seconds to tear down. it was so fun though! (: I really need to catch up on streams! but right now I'm going to the thrift store (: I love thrift stores. so much. and then tonight I'm going to watch Hercules and make Dirty Rice. best day ever!

songspiration six - Drive By-Train

I got a pro account! pretty exciting. I babysat for 5 hours and got $25 so I thought..why not (;
it was 42 degrees today! ahhh. I had my windows rolled down, blasting country music..it felt like spring!

this actually only took like 8 minutes to set up! katie.leighton helped me though!
then we had to wait until the lighting was right...for like 30mins
people watched and stared..but what else is new?

katie and I have telepathy..we thought of almost the same idea...so watch out for hers tomorrow!

songspiration five - Going Under-Evanescence

bahaha. I dislike this picture. a lot.

this was quite an embarassing shoot. I went to a park by my house, surrounded by other houses, and right by a playground, so there was a mom with 2 children and their dog. I come out to the middle of the field with jars full of water and the tallies on my arm and my makeup running in one eye with a big black sweatshirt one because it was freezing; and then the people's dog sees me so he started running at full speed toward my setup, and then the family runs over and as they get closer, I can see the creeped out look in their eyes..then they get up close enough to talk to me and the mom just stares at me and gives me suspicious looks as she's apologizing for her dog and then I look over at the little girl and she's staring at me in pure terror. by then they have their dog, so they start to back away slowly and then turn and walk faster and faster until they make it to their car. and then I hear the tires screeching..they drove away so fast! hahahaha...good times. and then another lady was spying on me in her yard. it got pretty awkward...so I left.

How to Save a Life-The Fray

I took a self-defense class yesterday with my friend. It was intense. The studio had to put paper up to cover all of the windows so innocent passerby's wouldn't call the police since it looked like we were legit getting attacked or shot at...even though we weren't. I have scratches, bruises, swollen hand marks on my arm, sore bones, a sore back, a bruised collarbone, and the skills to defend myself. Totally worth it! At the end of the class, we had to fight the instructor as if we were fighting someone trying to attack us. So he used all his power to try to “attack” us (he didn’t actually hurt us), but he couldn’t get me to the ground! I ridge handed him in the neck really hard, so he called time and ended it. It was the best feeling ever (: I would definitely recommend taking self defense classes.

asdfghjkl;...this was not my vision for this song at all. I needed a huge puddle for my concept, but since it’s below freezing here, it can’t work. It was the most amazing idea ever and I was soooo exciting for it! Oh well. I will definitely do it when it warms up.

I waited for him that Fall. I stood right where he left me waiting for him to come back.
The path pulled the leaves over it, preparing for the cold winter. I tried to remember what it looked like, your foot prints next to mine.
Spring came... you didn't.
I waited as long as I could, wishing, hoping, praying that the words you whispered, that had long ago blown away in the wind had gotten caught in the trees. That the rain might bring them back to me.
I held my breath every time a bird sung, not wanting to miss its song in case it was the one you sang to me.
At night I laid under the stars watching them, the only witnesses . I wanted them to shine your name, point me in your direction, just replay me what they saw if that's all I could have .
I touched the tree you first kissed me under, placing my hands, my fingers where yours were the last time you kissed me.
I waited well into summer hoping that you just couldn't find the path, that new flowers and grass had grown over it , that the dry river we walked had filled...
only to find the leaves changing again, the path covering, everything turning cold.
