Hunting seemed to be a favorite past time for the Vijayanagara kings in those days. Their temple walls depict their passion and culture.

My dream of sighting a big cat never got fulfilled in my three visits to the forests this year. Iam afraid my dream will only be a dream for some time now because of the tourist safari ban on all the tiger reserves in India.

Indian Supreme court today banned wildlife safari's in all the tiger reserves in India. I will miss those great moments inside the forests during the safari's but at the same time i support this decision as it will safeguard the tigers as well as the other wild life which are in the verge of extinct.
