Saw this bubble of sap today and couldn't resist it. I figured brown eyes can be blue why not amber sap as well.

It's amazing how much life can be reflected off a surface the size of a quarter.

I was torn between the two pics I took of this. So, I've posted the other one in the comments.

Something about this reflection in the mirror made me smile when I first saw it. I had to go back, grab my camera and take this picture. Looking for beauty in every day things is really getting addictive. I've seen these bathroom lights for 7 years and never noticed the reflection until today.

This was given to me a couple years ago by a young patient. I've had it sitting on the shelf in my office next to a piece of bark and an origami sphere. It's one of those items that just makes me feel loved when I look at it.

I love the golden color in old glass and this old acupuncture cup has some beautiful tones in it. The herb burner in the back has a nice patina on it also I find appealing.

A Quiver Full

I was at work and trying to think of the smallest thing I could try to focus on and I grabbed a quiver of acupuncture pins. An acupuncture pin is as thin as a piece of hair but their ends are wrapped like guitar strings. This is the angle showing the ends.

This is by far my favorite book of my favorite poet. I started reading his poetry when I was eight and memorized my first poem of his at age ten. It's called 'We are Seven'. I found a poetry book that my grandmother had given to my mother and the poem was underlined. I fell in love with it and always felt a connection to it because it meant so much to them.

I'm always crawling on the ground for shots of moss and roots and such... a close friend has inspired me to look up... and wow, it's pretty amazing up there. I might do it more often!

Yes, this is my almost last view inside a bottle... I do have a green one I adore too.. so, I might not be able to resist... this time it's a bottle of Bawls. I sure do love the colors and I have a bit of an addictive personality... so, be patient with me while I use this medium as my therapy. xoxo

I've always liked old window frames. Whenever someone's replacing windows and I or one of my strange friends find out about it ~ we all race to see who gets to keep them. They make the best frames for photos or paintings.

I'm going to miss seeing this hat and cup of coffee at the table with me. I love the contrast of this man and his handmade tools carving a pipe next to Rachel and I with our sharpie fumes. As soon as he's finished, he's walking to his reservation in Arizona. I understand his call for this journey but will miss his presence all the same.
