&lt;p&gt;I took these photos from across the Cape Fear from the Wilmington promenades.  Each of these was taken with a long lens (150-500 zoom) under interesting afternoon lighting.  I was testing the new Sigma BigOS lens.&lt;br /&gt;

Ironically, years ago I took another dramatic photo of this venerable ship with another Sigma lens (14mm). Ironically, years ago I took another dramatic photo of this venerable ship with another Sigma lens (14mm).
